Fringe 5x11 - "The Boy Must Live" (Discussion, Spoilers)

OK, so now we're trying to retcon Walter's memories.

 

This probably isn't my favorite season plotwise but John Noble has been fantastic.

 

Well, I'm with him on the public restroom issue.

 

So are the writers clearly.

The Observers can see every possible outcome but can't see what the gang is up to?

 

Total agreement on Noble. The man is just superb. Why he hasn't won a frakkin' Emmy is beyond me.

I like this season a LOT more than Season 4.

 

Damn, does John Noble really know how to convey joy. That was a really touching scene. And then caps it off with a number two joke.

I mean, the past has already happened - it's affected the future. Observer-World should be a direct result (more or less) of what's already happened in this century, and the next, and so on.

 

I liked the back-and-forth with the altverse.

 

So strange seeing Michael Cerveris with hair and 5:00 shadow.

 

OMG! The Observers are actually Vulcans!

 

That looked a bit dodgy...

 

"I took him back to where he would be safe... In an abandoned building that was to be demolished."

I agree, it's definitely weird seeing him with hair and a beard.

 

OK, nice to know that there was a specific reason for why the Baldies came back into time to 2015... Although we still don't know what that is.

 

I know that Michael Cerveris took a few days off from Evita to film this.
