I remember you (or someone) doing something like this a long while back, and to be honest it isn't as clear as you might think it is exactly what it is you're doing.

There's a mention of a "President Bacco," who (iirc) appears in the novel-verse, so is this a simple reciting of that universe's timeline?

Just wondering.
