So.. What's up with Nechayev?

So at the end of Blind Man's Bluff,

What's up with that? Is it as yet unresolved?

Doesn't really matter; Nechayev is alive and well in Zero Sum Game.

The Nacheyev in Zero Sum Hame could be an alien too actually. Right?

Didn't New Frontier's continuity diverge from the main TNG/DS9 timeline a few years ago? I've never been a big fan, but I have read a few.

Just because there are a few continuity errors doesn't mean it's total seperate from the rest of the Lit-verse.
