Wow, damn shame. He was great in 'O Brother Where Art Thou?'.. Matter of fact, pretty damn good in everything he was in.

Most of the obituaries left out his portraying the President in TWILIGHT'S LAST GLEAMING. In fact, it was one of Durning's own personal favorite roles.

He was a great actor, but he was outstanding in this role,
