TNG Season 1 shown on TV in Canada in HD

Did anyone notice that Space (cable channel in Canada) showed the entire Star Trek: TNG Season 1 in a marathon (this just happened in the past couple days)?

The entire season was shown in HD (not sure whether these were sourced from the Blu-ray or were different HD sources provided by CBS/Paramount). But it was definitely from the new remaster. Was a nice surprise.

Looks like they're starting to make the rounds.

I posted this before but it's relevant here: the American cable channel SyFy showed Q Who (at least) in HD a couple weeks ago.

You're sure it was the new Remaster? I don't have SPACE anymore, but when I did, from about 2010 onwards the channel was upressing the old SD tapes to HD and then doing a simulcast in SD of the HD feed (they were also doing this for Voyager and DS9).

I caught it and recorded it. It's definitely the new HD version, the CG Enterprise shots stick out like a hi-def sore thumb. :-P

Yep and it looks stunning even in SD.
