The way he describes his character makes me even more anticipatory of the movie. Hopefully this villain will have a little more depth than the last one. I don't really care who he actually is. I'd prefer a completely new character but I'm fine with Khan, Mitchell, or anyone really.

I don't think it's a particularly difficult role to recast, certainly easier than Spock.

Now all these hints (and Harrison being name of a character from "Space Seed" & the Japanese trailer scene) could be red herrings, or maybe not. And Khan is the only Trek villain that would get the attention of mainstream audiences (other than the Borg). I was one of those who didn't want Khan in the movie but now I am OK either way. As long as the movie is good it doesn't matter. |
