Web Development jokes

What did the stylesheet say to the HTML document?

You div.

A web developer walked into a bar, he left because he didn't like the table layout.

Someone once asked me why I use PHP, I said:

FOR an ARRAY of reasons.

Okay - I admit it - I laughed at the PHP one.

What does PERL stand for?

Pathologically Eclectic Rubbish Lister.

Re: Web Development jokes

Heh...you'd be surprised. Some of my best clients have been people who still have these old legacy PERL web apps lying around. Of, course, most of those want them upgraded to PHP, ColdFusion or some other more "modern" method but some of them just want some tweaks here and there on existing servers.

Hell, the hippies that coded COBOL back in the dark ages now all own 60-foot yachts and fully irrigated underground weed farms thanks to Y2K bugs that have been in legacy systems since the 60's & 70's. By that standard, PERL still has a few more good years of shelf life to it.
