What if it's Jean-Luc Picard

What if something terrible happened say when Picard was a liutenant and he's thrown either back in time or to a parralell dimension where the actions of Kirk destroyed him or his career and he's come back for vengeance and we get Star Trek Generations the way it was meant to be?

AND! The young blonde (Alice Eve) is Picard's Memaw from Where none one has gone before, and Kirk wrongs her somehow.

You know, every time I watch the trailer, it takes me a few beats to remember that I'm hearing Benedict Cumberbatch and not Patrick Stewart. Accents aside, they do have strikingly similar voices.

And if they ever did do something with Picard, I'd hope they'd have the sense to use Hardy. He and Pine had such great bro chemistry that it would be a huge missed opportunity.

In fact it was so good, that after seeing it, I did a complete 180 on my opinion towards having Picard in the nuverse.
