Justin Bieber: police uncover plot to castrate and murder teen star

Police in America have uncovered a bizarre and elaborate plot hatched by three men who planned to castrate and kill teenage pop singer Justin Bieber.

Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane were allegedly hired by Dana Martin, who is serving 978 years in prison for rape and murder, to allegedly abduct Bieber while he was in New York to perform concerts in late November and strangle him with a neck tie, according to KRQE-TV in Alberquerque.

Police claim Staake met Martin in Las Cruces prison in New Mexico, where Martin recruited him to kill four people, including Bieber. Martin is reportedly obsessed with the Canadian singer, and has a tattoo of the 18-year-old on his leg.

He allegedly ordered Staake to carry out "the murder and castration of Bieber and his bodyguard".

Police intercepted phonecalls between the men, including a call from a disappointed Mr Ruane to Martin, allegedly telling him that the plot had not been carried out.

Staake was arrested in Vermont and Ruane was arrested shortly later in New York, where police found a pair of pruning shears in his car.

Police were able to track them down after they confronted Martin with the plot and he explained where to find them.

Bieber's management have declined to comment.

Seriously, though, while I despise his "music" and pretty much everything about the kid, I don't really think he deserves to die. Retire early, yes. Die, no.

What is the point of castrating him if you're just going to murder him anyway? I mean, logistically, that just seems like a waste of effort.

I'm glad Bieber is safe. That is just insane, especially since the poor guy has never harmed anyone (que "his music" responses). I actually like him, anyway. His music's not really my kind of fare, but he seems to be a decent fellow.

This just cements the fact that I do not want to be famous. Obscenely rich? Hell, yes. Famous? Not needed.

It's just a detail of the weird ass murder fantasy. Like the bodyguard. The Biebs probably has a team of bodyguards rotated in and out by the security contract company. And yet, the "mastermind" of this affair wants a bodyguard murdered with the target of his "affection (he has the kid tattooed on his leg)." WTF is that? I don't think you can apply real world logic.

I admire your bold stance against teenage performers you don't like being castrated and murdered. The way you weighed the options and decided he wasn't worthy of brutal mutilation and death just because he makes shitty music really makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
