Is this the "Into Darkness" trailer music?
Fastforward to October 2012, and Two Steps From Hell have released Skyworld, featuring a track called "Starfleet" (thats one word, just as Trek spells it...) Coincidence? ![]() I can really picture this playing on a trailer while Cumberbatch walks through the ruins of London...

Starfleet really sounds like Trek trailer material. I hope it's used.

Just picture it, a shot of Kirk on the bridge saying "Mr Sulu, prepare to take the ship underwater. And Into Darkness." This this tune plays. So cool.

http://youtu.be/OVaRYuF3Hx4 I don't know if that means Paramount marketing will reuse it or not. . .(personally I'm hoping that they use "SkyWorld") but Paramount did buy exclusive rights to "Freedom Fighters" for Star Trek XI. ~FS
