Stephen King's Under the Dome coming to CBS in 2013

It was suppose to be Showtime, but now it is going to be CBS.

It'll be interesting to see how they will tone the book down for broadcast television. I wonder how many seasons it will also go on if the first season turns out to be a success?

CBS looked like they had shunned all Sci Fi shows as a network, so it was surprising they want this on their schedule.

I don't really see this as good news. Instead of getting a cool Showtime show, we now have 2013s Terra Nova, The Event, or Flash Forward.

At least we know there's an endgame, so it doesn't meander all over the place.

That said, it's not an ending that will go over well with most viewers and will likely need tweaking.
