Re: The Most Annoying Scene EVER Award Goes To...
As for a scene from any of the movies...the most annoying scene I can think of is in Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier. It's the scene where Kirk says he knew he wouldn't die when he fell off the mountain cause Spock and McCoy were there. Then he explains how he's always known he'd die alone. I always skip over that and go to where Kirk ask Spock what he's doing and Spock says: I'm preparing to toast a marshmelon.

Re: The Most Annoying Scene EVER Award Goes To...
"Look through the scope, what do you see?" "I see pictures of people smiling." "The killer wanted to destroy emotion. The killer must be vulcan!" (Biggest facepalm moment in all of Trek) Every scene where people are inexplicably obsessed with Vic Fontaine Voyager: WINGS OF FIRE! WINGS OF FIRE! WINGS OF FIRE! (If the planet's people are that stupid they were probably better off with the farengi.) Native Americans were influenced by aliens and that's why they're so spiritual TNG: Data can get drunk Wesley singlehandedly takes over the ship Tasha drug speech We can't save these people from extinction because a thousand years from now one of them might be the next Hitler TOS: We are different! I have the black on this side of my face! I am Ares! Enterprise: In the 29th century every six year old can contact the past from his school desk. Decontamination sauna Invent prime directive in five minutes and decide based on it to let an entire species die. Cure borg assimilation in five minutes then forget it exists Followed closely by every other scene in the series |

![]() To be fair in that scene, you can tell even Nana Visitor was struggling with that scene. |

JANEWAY: Computer, display Fair Haven character Michael Sullivan. Adjust his parameters to the following specifications. Give him the education of a nineteenth century third year student at Trinity College. COMPUTER: Modification complete. JANEWAY: Now, access the character's interactive subroutines. Make him more provocative. COMPUTER: Specify. JANEWAY: Give him a more complicated personality. COMPUTER: Specify. JANEWAY: More outspoken, more confident, not so reserved, and make him more curious about the world around him. COMPUTER: Modification complete. JANEWAY: Good. Now, increase the character's height by three centimetres. Remove the facial hair. No, no, I don't like that. Put some back. About two days' growth. Better. Oh, one more thing. Access his interpersonal subroutines, familial characters. Delete the wife.
