Just poking around, I find a list of IMAX theatres which will be showing The Hobbit in HFR (High Frame-Rate) 3D:

Not sure this represents anything like 500 screens' worth, though, but I imagine we'll be getting more updates, the closer we get.

I honestly have no idea how many there are... __________________ I had steak and a loaded baked potato for dinner on Sunday. As a steak I enjoyed it a lot, but as macaroni and cheese I thought it was disappointing.
