Not that I'm recommending it as one of the "worst TV themes," because it's not.

I'm surprised so many people don't like firefly's theme. I thought it was perfect for the show.

Then about when Sam Waterston came aboard, they changed it to a version with deeper bass, I greatly preferred that version:



That being said: I didn't much like the original Criminal Intent theme (the one with the fuzz guitar and all that crap):



After Trial By Jury got cancelled, CI got its theme.



Worst L&O theme of all, though? The second version of the Law & Order: LA theme. Whoever performed it sounded asleep!

I dislike most of the 80's theme songs with lyrics: Golden Girls is among the worst, along with Charles in Charge, Different Strokes, The Facts of Life, Family Ties, etc.

I always thought Queen's hard-rocking "Princes of the Universe," the theme from Highlander, seemed glaringly inappropriate for a fantasy-action-adventure show.

Yep. I never saw the original film. Maybe the song worked better on the big screen.
