Re: The Amazing Spider-Man DVD review, discussion thread (poss. spoile
My wife bought me the DVD the other day and I just loved it! The web shooters were really down played and became a non issue for me. I actually liked how fast the webbing came out in this movie. I thought Garfield did a fine job as both Spidey and Parker...although in many ways this was more of a Peter Parker movie than a spider-man movie. I must it admit I liked it more than Rami's first two movies.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man DVD review, discussion thread (poss. spoile
Having Oscorp furnish the webbing also took the "bite" (pardon the pun) out of Peter's constant need to ingest protein. That made sense with organic "shooters", as his body had to manufacture the materials itself. Am I saying I prefer organic shooters? No. Just that I wish they had been a little more careful with their premises. ETA - By the way, is it me or is this thread not that popular? I would have figured as a DVD grading thread it would have seen more traffic...or did everyone make most of their points in the original movie thead? |

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man DVD review, discussion thread (poss. spoile
Peter using his "internship" status called up Oscorp and requested a box of the bioweb Over time Peter realizes this trick can't go on. So he studies the molecular structure of the web line/ bio web and figures out how to make it himself. If Peter can figure out the decay rate algorithm formula surely he can figure out how the bio web works.
