Beta readers

I would love to read someone's work and give any helpful suggestions I can, before it's officially posted, in exchange for the same favor. My instincts as a writer rebel against publishing anything not beta read.

Or if any generous souls offer to read my story out of the goodness of their hearts, I would be grateful.

Re: Beta readers

How long is it? That'll kind of define for me (and perhaps for others) if I have the time. Also, which era?

Perhaps we should set up a little TrekBBS 'sewing circle' to beta read each others' work?

Somehow you don't strike me as the type to sit politely with others...
