I like the new style and tone of the previews, but I still can't get my head around this new Kirk. He just doesn't have the right screen presence.

Who is it playing that one senior officer? I swear I've seen him somewhere else before.

This is a different actor. He'd been cast as young Kirk for a while.

Colin Cunningham. He played a minor recurring character on Stargate SG-1.
