Yesterday's Enterprise blooper??

I was watching Yesterday's Enterprise and I noticed something funny. At the end of the episode when Guinan and Geordi are sitting down and Guinan asks Geordi to tell her about Tasha Yar...it appears that Geordi is wearing the same uniform from the alternate timeline. Look at the end of his sleeves and his collar. Was that an intentional move, or just a blooper?? Sadly, I'm not able to post a screen shot of it, but be that as it may, I thought it was interesting.

Yes, I think that's been known for quite a while.

Hopefully they can digitally edited that out or something for the Blu-Ray.

Actually it might have made a good image, if the camera pulled back from Geordie and Guinan and showed that everyone was wearing the war universe uniforms like Geordie; and then they stuck with it throughout the series run until the new uniforms were introduced.

The correct explanation is that Geordi heard the story from guinan while they were talking, liked the description so much that he ran off and replicated himself a uniform with those cuffs. Then he went back to Guinan to finish their conversation.

Of course, when Picard found out, he revoked Geordi's holodeck privledges (and we know how Geordi can only find a date there) so Geordi reluctantly went back to the regular uniform.

Really, it's in the script.

Not answering for Gore-ac, but I also wouldn't want that blooper edited out. When I buy such discs, what I want is what was originally shown. I don't want something edited to fix such mistakes, because those mistakes are part of the actual show I got to love, warts and all. Anyway, such mistakes do tend to make good talking points, such as this thread. The time to fix mistakes is when they're making the show, not twenty years afterwards. Once the show is out, then the mistake becomes canon.

So, just keep the mistake. In fact, put an arrow pointing at it with big letters saying, "We messed up here!"

Worf's beard is right! I too believe the episodes should be preserved the way they were made, mistakes and all, rather than being constantly tinkered with like the Star Wars movies.

It might have made for a slightly chilling scene, like we're briefly looking at yet a third universe. The decor of ten forward could have been different as well.

Actually never spotted this at all, but have to say, I enjoy people bringing things like this up, opens for plenty more discussion regards a great episode and makes you think about it a lot more in a different way.

Genuinely hope it wasnt a mistake and was deliberate to leave people guessing and wondering at the end.

No. The timeline at the end of the episode is the same one as the timeline at the beginning of it. Put back the way it was all along.
