Re: Janeway's locks...short or long?
Stephen Fry said that we all spend half our lives hurtling towards a point where we are the most beautiful we can be, and then we spend the other half hurtling away from that moment of perfection. I think you're suggesting that her "moment" has been lasting and will continue to last for decades.

Re: Janeway's locks...short or long?
I don't regard a flawless skin and long hair as the essence of beauty. The shock about the short hair in THAT colour originates from my admiration for her gorgous hair so far - true. But she herself is nevertheless beautiful. Because of her grace, her intellect, her generous, giving personality. For the way she radiates energy and kindness, and the way she kept such an open mind. In this way she certainly didn't hurtle away from perfection. And I hope it will last for a very very long time.

Re: Janeway's locks...short or long?
The bob helmet? No. Just no. The Gibson-esque bun was a fascinating construction. I'd love to know how they made it stay put. I've heard it called the bun of steel, but to me it always seemed rather gravity-defying. The pony tail with rolled sides was fun for a little while, but then they never changed it for the next year or whatever. Boooriiing. The French twist was very neatly done, but in a way that really wasn't flattering on her. No. There's one more style they used a lot that's hard to describe. Ah, here, the one on the right. I kind of liked that one! (That's another style I have no idea how they did.) I liked it better when it was more flowy, like in Workforce or 11:59. Or shorter and wild like in Year of hell or Concerning flight. The retro style in The killing game was adorable. Mostly down in Time and again was cute too. So in short: great hair, but lots of bad styles.

Re: Janeway's locks...short or long?
Is it my imagination or are those new and bigger glasses? Maybe it's the glasses that is making the hair stand out more? I am actually getting curious now and can't waiting to see anything on this new show and what they do to her. I had rather see her do this than any of those celebrity reality shows.

Re: Janeway's locks...short or long?
I am VERY curious about the new show, I think it will be great. Her character in Warehouse 13 is underused and dull, they have missed the boat there. They should have made her more flirtatious and provocative like her son. I wanna see Kate sling some hash!
