I love the tagline: "May 17 2013. Darkness is revealed."

Is the guy on the far left of that image supposed to be Simon Pegg/Scotty? That's who I figure it is, only through the process of elimination, but it doesn't look like him.

It's Pegg as Scotty at far left. That's one of the same images used for promos of the last movie.

How do we know this is official and not just a fan page claiming to be?

The graphics in the banner look like they're just reusing one from the last movie.

Thanks. I see it now in that second link. I knew it HAD to be Pegg (they wouldn't show 6 of the 7 on a poster. Maybe a poster would have only Pine and Quinto, or Pine, Quinto, & Urban -- but they wouldn't show only 6 of the 7).

However, I just couldn't recognized Pegg's stylized face on that poster in the OP. I think it's the eyes and the mouth; he just looks..."odd".

That's a good question. Anyone see this getting a mention on any of Paramount's official pages or reliable sources for Trek news? Doesn't look like TrekMovie has anything yet, nor TrekToday.

Still, though, I'd be a little more assured about authenticity if there were something like that in their "About" section, along with a linkback to Paramount or to a Paramount page for the film. So far, this seems a bit amateur.

Looks like the IMDb link on the "About" page has now been replaced with a link to:

Which currently goes nowhere, generating an error message:

Could not locate remote server

Check that the address is spelled correctly, or try searching for the site.
