Re: Has JJ Abrams ever watched any star trek episodes or movie?s
Warser Class of 1977. I've liked both. Except the idiotic live action prequels. Tangent: LucasFilm has been bought by Disney. So, the complaint must be changed to: "JJ Abrams is turning Star Trek into Disney! Whaaaaaaaaaa!" Anyway, focus on the characters and action. I don't have a problem with it. Question: Is "popcorn movie" derogatory? I like action movies, as long as they have great characters. Ex. Underworld. Why must every endeavor be like the Lord of the Rings prose novel? The characters, setting and plot get buried under description and drama. A balance must be made. |
