2. Frasier 3. All in the Family 4. The Wonder Years 5. Cheers Not an easy thing to do here... Had to look up some theme songs just to make sure they had lyrics to them...

iirc from an interview, Chris Boucher wasn't particularly impressed with the song feeling that it didn't fit the show.

Re: Top 5 TV theme songs, read the rules before posting.
The first season used only one theme song, "Save Me" by Peter Cetera, for all episodes, seasons 2-9 used "I'll be Ready", season 10 (the first after the show moved to Hawaii) used an instrumental remix of I'll be ready and season 11 had a completely new theme song, I think it's called "Let me be the One" I like the season 11 opening, of course for the reunion movie the show went back to I'll be ready. Meh, I guess it is the best known opening so it makes sense, I still think one of the hawaiian themes would have been better because the movie was still set in Hawaii.

1. Batman theme (a classic, covered by everyone from Duane Eddy to the Who to Iggy Pop to the Jam); 2. the Banana Splits theme (I put this on near the end of a frat party back in college in the 80s-every person in the place went nuts); 3. Spider-man theme (especially the Ramones cover); 4. Dukes of Hazzard (I was a fan of Waylon even before the show aired); 5. the Monkees theme/Rawhide (tie) |
