October Art Challenge - The Horror Of It

Your challenge for October is to take an episode title of any series and make a horror movie poster, book cover, album cover, scene, etc, based on it. You can either make your work reflective of the actual episode, or the title can work simply as the theme.

For example "Obsession" could be a movie\book\scene about Kirk being stalked by an over zealous admirer.....or it could be based on the actual episode.

The episode title must be worked into your piece.

Can you have the episode title as part of a longer title? Such as TNG ep (Fifty) shades of Grey ?

Well I'm tempted to say "no" because the Art Challenge should have some "challenge" to it.....but you've got me interested in what you might have in mind, so a play on the episode title will be acceptable....as long as the end result is spoooooooky.

Thanks, it was fun making it. I was thinking something like Nightmare on "Carpenter Street". There's lots of obvious episode names like Barge of the Dead, Year of Hell, The Changing Face of Evil. I would be more impressed if someone chose a less obviously spooky title and came up with something just as horrific

Yeah, originally my thinking was there's plenty to work with title wise with the however many hundreds of hours worth of episodes there are. As you say, there's the obvious ones, and yes, I'd be more impressed if someone came up with something totally off the wall for "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" or "Imaginary Friend" than say, "Skin Of Evil" or "Night Terrors".

Hmmm....maybe I should've just said stick to the actual titles! LOL! I'm sure we could throw out plenty of names that, once you think about it, could be made into something creepy.

Well I am heading out of town in a few minutes, won't have internet access, so I won't get to vote or see the contest this month. Which sucks cause there's a lot of awesome going on! My entry has been sent and may the best person win, I'll see you in a week!
