Mankind: The Story of All of US

Has anyone been watching the History Channel's new miniseries "Mankind: The Story of All of US." Basically, it's the kind of flashy, pop-history documentary filled with reenactments that the History Channel does so well. It generally doesn't break new ground, but it covers things fairly well and can be pretty informative. Given that much of the channel is now devoted to reality television, it's always a pleasant surprise when they do a program like this.

Here, they're trying to cover a fairly ambitious topic - all of human history

Obviously, they have to cut quite a bit out, but it's still a good presentation overall.
