Mel Smith has died.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/culture/20...ith-dies-actor

The actor and comedian Mel Smith, best known for his roles in Alas Smith and Jones and Not the Nine

O'Clock News, has died of a heart attack at his home in north-west London, his agent has announced.
Must admit I'm shocked at this news.

The loss of a great comic genius.

Rest in Peace sir, I shall eat chocolate when it's cold and a hedgehog sandwich in your honour!

Truly a great shame.

Alas Smith & Jones was a constant on TV when I was growing up.

RIP Mel.
