Impending Global Bacon Shortage?

Pig farmers are cutting back production due to rising feed costs. The predicted result: Porkocalypse!

Will pork products be rationed? Will there be a thriving black market in bacon, sausages and Spam?

I wonder if a persistent shortage would accelerate the development of 3D printers that can print meat.

"Pig Executive" is a most unfortunate title.

Perhaps pouring corn in our gas tanks wasn't a great idea, nor was letting as prices double, which directly affects feed costs.

Seriously, bacon is, like, my favorite part of a pig. Except for that springy little tail.

Screw it, I am gonna avoid the rush and resort to cannibalism NOW!

As I don't eat anything that comes from a pig, I couldn't give a toss; but my husband on the other hand, would have a fit. I think those scientist that are working on building real life replicators should shift it and get it done. *lol*

Bacon prices have been rising for a while now. Before long it'll be a fine delicacy like caviar and quail eggs.

Chris Barrie's Bacon Number is 2, surprisingly enough.

"Porkocalypse" is hard to say. Just try it. It also sounds like "poor cock uh lips," and I don't even know what to make of that.

"Porkpocalypse" is slightly less awkward.

"Porktastrophe" seems like a better convention overall.
