The Enterprise NX-01

" ;on the open cargo bed behind it lay a pair of bulky generators whose purpose was to power the deflector-shield system that was due to be installed next week" ("The Romulan War: To Brave the Storm", p. 198.

* I was right about the NX-01 having shield generators!

Yes, it had shield generators between their installation at the end of February 2160 and the Battle of Cheron five months later. Otherwise, not so much. And why not put this in the same thread where we were discussing it before?

Were those shield generators installed on a Tuesday?
