Hi
i saw iron man 1.
& one of the hulk's films (the last one).
i didn't saw iron man 2 or any of the thor &/or captain america films.
can i watch the Avengers? or must i need to watch the others first?

Of course you can watch it.

Having seen Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America will, however, add to the enjoyment and understanding of the film. Thus I would advise seeing them first, but you don't have to.

Of all of them I'd say Thor is most "essential", but I think you'll be fine regardless.
