Tom Paris' love for SeaQuest DSV became somewhat of an obsession.

Synchronized diving, olympic since 2000, provides us with another remarkable show: "Young Tom Paris in the Delta Flyer together with his long time colleague Chakotay in the shuttle Cochrane have taken up on the challenge of this years galactical diving championship. They had an impressive start, taking up speed nicely, avoiding the asteroids elegantly, but - OH NO, Chakotay isn't synchronous any longer, he did an extra spiral and crashed his shuttle on a observation satellite! Such tragedy! Tom dives from an impressive distance, does
the proper amount of rotations and dives in a well aimed angle into the water! Well done, although he won't score since his partner got lost. What a shame!"
