Classic Soundtrack Reviews

I've got an idea in the works for something. As one of the individuals who have been requesting a music forum, I feel I should really be doing more to justify the creation of such a thing. So, I plan to do a review series, in which I'll take a classic movie soundtrack, and review each of the individual pieces of music.

Soundtracks have also been a passion of mine, and I've come up with two classic movie soundtracks, that I'd like to review ahead of any others. So I'll put it to a vote to determine which one I do first.

Superman (1978)
Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)

It will be the soundtrack as heard on the original theatrical release.

Ignore the week-long poll deadline. Depending on what leads within the next couple of days, I may just got ahead and start the thread. Each track will have it's own post, in which I will analyse the track, complete with a video from YouTube (for reference).
