You barely look like the same guy anymore. That's impressive.

My view yesterday and today:

[URL=http://www.imagebam.com/image/9362df313345085]
Here is my view from today and we're possibly getting two feet of snow tomorrow.

How 24hrs can change things, here today after getting almost two feet of snow yesterday.

This is what I lovingly call The Wall, its a wall of snow at the end of our driveway from the plow pushing all our snow there.

and how it looked just before the snowstorm.

I finally used the snowblower on the front walkway...

At least our backyard and woods looks like a christmas card.

Great pics. You might want to think about shoveling off your garage roof though.

Unrecognizable. Amazing how more hair and a beard changes the look of someone.
I always say removing a beard is an improvement in 90% of men. Nice going.

Before I completely removed the beard I had to see how I looked with mutton chops

I never suspected that there were.

As of last week, I hit 245. Biggest I've ever been, and I ain't stopping anytime soon.

Quite lovely. Although, you're probably sick of it.

Happy Birthday, tsq! Nice view Rincewiend! Joel Kirk, you might only live twice, but that just means you'll die another day. You can enjoy this one at the Casino Royale.

I've spent a few days this past week in Manhattan and I made sure to bring my camera. The full (88 photo) set is HERE, but I wanted to share some samples. TheSeeker (well, Savage Dragon, now ), your Bryant Park photo inspired me, so I set out to get some shots of trees in the city - with buildings in the background. They're in the set above, toward the bottom.

Those are some great shots! I'm glad I could serve as some inspiration, but I'll be darned if you didn't outdo me!

We really should get together one of these days for a walkabout with our cameras.

The new Freedom Tower / Trade Center looks so awe-inspiring. Hope I get to see it in person one day.

Thanks for the compliment! And yeah, it'd be cool to do a joint photo shoot one of these days. I've done that on just a couple of occasions before and it's always a blast getting to find out how others see photo opportunities. And since the weather is bound to get warmer at some point (it has to, right?), that'd be the perfect opportunity for it.

It really is quite a sight to behold. Which I find quite interesting. The building doesn't have a particularly striking silhouette or design (the initial designs were much more distinctive, for example). But seeing the blue sky and clouds reflected in its simple-yet-elegant shape is ... as you say, awe-inspiring.
