Here's an idea for you to pontificate upon:

A Cadbury Creme Egg filled with SweetTarts.

Oh, yeah. I went there. And it is a glorious place.
I'm not really diggin' this plan. I feel like those are conflicting flavors.

Inject the egg with Kahlua.

The thing about the Creme Eggs is that they don't look terribly appetizing on the inside but they taste amazing. I've really cut back on Easter chocolates and candies in the last few years but I'm always tempted to buy some Creme Eggs because they were a staple for my holiday growing up.

And yeah....they wanna kill you. They wanna kill us all. They're devious little brown lumps.

Harder I'm sure, now that they seem to pop up in the stores sooner and sooner in recent years, with huge baskets of them sitting by the registers.

Re: PICTURE POST II!

I think they are disgusting, overly fatty chocolate and horrible sugar goo with no flavour other than SUGAR. However the kahlua idea has merit.. reduce the sugar in the goo by half, inject the kahlua (the real thing, not kahlua flavouring) and make the egg out of dark chocolate without that greasy fatty quality.

Have mini versions that are sold to .. DROP INTO COFFEE. Like a shot of whiskey dropped into a beer. It sits there.. it diffuses..

They ARE disgusting, but in that wonderfully nostalgic and comforting way, like Pop Tarts or mac and cheese or Whitesnake.

I think we have different definitions of "disgusting." I think Cadbury Eggs are heavenly.

There is, of course, the large hollow milk chocolate egg containing a Marshmallow Peep in the center. If you're not all Peeped out after all these years of seeing the things every other holiday on the calendar it can be a fun treat to bite into a real chocolate egg and get a yellow marshmallowy reward.

Peeps, IMHO, have but one use:

Re: PICTURE POST II!

Peeps are good if they're fresh. When they go bad you're better off trying to eat industrial caulking coated in sugar.

Re: PICTURE POST II!

I used to love creme eggs, and then they changed the formula/got smaller/got "cheaper", and I lost the desire to eat them. I had one a few years back and it tasted horrid.

I had never heard of Peeps until a few years ago. I don't think I'll ever try one.

As to Cadbury Creme Eggs, yuck!

NYC is great. Even better? Baltimore, Maryland.

If you love seafood you owe it to yourself to visit Baltimore at least once in your life.
As someone who moved to Baltimore 102 days ago, I can verify the truth of this post.
Nice to hear, guys! I'm so tired of people thinking real life in Baltimore is just like Homicide and The Wire.
