No he didn't. I use "we", "our", "us", all the time in reference to the teams I support and I've never owned or been employed by the Lakers or Raiders.

I use "we" when we win, and "they" when they lose.

Atlanta goes to 6-0. Matt Bryant was iced right before the game winning kick. He took a practice kick anyway, missed it, and knew how to correct it. Glad to see my #2 team doing well. Seems like they're finally on the right path.

As someone who doesn't give a damn about either team, I have to say the Lions/Eagles game was fucking awful to watch. It's like neither team wanted to win the game and kept giving up opportunities to put the game away.

I don't know about Atlanta. Their offensive line got manhandled by the Raiders' front in the second half and were it not for an excellent play by Asante Samuel, I think the Raiders would have won this game. As it was, they still came back and tied it up and gave their defense at least a chance to win it.

I think this game said more about the Raiders (positively) than it did about the Falcons.

Damn! What a second half! All season, the ball has not bounced Denver's way... lost all of their fumbles, rarely picking up fumbles from the other team, and dropping sure-thing interceptions like they were too hot to hold. Tonight, the defense went off! Fumbles, sacks, interceptions, pick-sixes. That right there was the difference between today's win and the three comeback losses... the defense played decently enough to keep it winnable in those games, but they didn't make huge, game-changing plays. One hell of a way to go into the bye. GO BRONCOS!

F-Yeah, go Broncos! Peyton played it to win it, with 300+ yards and 3 TDs, the only blemish being the pick-6. What a phenomenal game, and I'm glad the Broncos are finally playing like the caliber they are.

Geez. Phillip Rivers blows goats!

Just a terrible, terrible job of protecting the football.

As for my beloved Rams, this one really hurt. A perfect opportunity to get a win on the road. 12 penalties, 3 sacks, 1 unbelievably stupid fumble on special teams, and 3 missed field goals...and we lose by 3.

After that horrible showing in the Packers game, I'm suprised ESPN still shows the Texans in their power poll at 2. Oh well, we play the only other 5-1 team in the AFC this weekend. The Ravens get to visit us. It should be interesting.

I was under the impression the ESPN power rankings were based on wins and the wins of opponents you defeated. Teams that are tied in the 2nd category are then ranked on the "eyeball test".
