I'm going to combine the two ideas in the other thread into one, because they go well together and because this one should stand on its own.

The other is the 30s-40s take on a Trek 'monster mash', this moves us into the 50s...

No, the Enterprise alone cannot stop the Brains of Castamere.

But Starfleet doesn't clown around. The lead Brain is about to go splat courtesy of a volley of photon torpedos from the First Fleet.

Yeah, I'm done with the Enterprise being the only ship available in the whole system!
