Mea culpa.

I knew that it was *directed* by a Frenchman but I actually thought it was filmed in England...silly me
It was filmed in England.

Loads of films are though, including lots of American films. The nationality of a film seems only really to refer to who paid for it.

I mean Alien was directed by an Englishman, shot in England and the effects were done in England, but it is considered an American movie.

Thumbs down. Indeed it's the face.
Do you have any opinions on her body of work, or her talent as an actress? I know that she looks like she's older than the age of consent in most jurisdictions so I wasn't expecting you to appreciate her on a physical level, but perhaps you have some intellectual insights to offer?
She was good in Inception, and kind of non-existent in the Dark Knight Returns, but that has nothing to with my vote, so it seems a bit off-topic.

I look forward to your same level of butt-hurt next week.

So what went into making your vote?

A classic beauty. I vote 'up.'

I saw The Dark Knight Rises again. I wouldn't say her role was non-existent, but it was small and she wasn't given enough to really stand out.

Her forehead mole is a little distracting, however after watching Dark Knight Rises how could I not vote in the affirmative? She was great.

Hint for the next BOTW (don't answer if you know):

"It was the wrong decision, and I think anybody that knows anything about the game knows that. There's no doubt in my mind I would have made those saves. And the fact of the matter is it's not 2004 anymore. It's not 2004. And it's 2007, and I think you have to live in the present. And you can't live by big names. You can't live in the past. It doesn't matter what somebody did in an Olympic gold medal game in the Olympics three years ago. Now is what matters, and that's what I think."

Thumbs up for Marion
She is a good actress and a very classy looking beauty
I think I first saw her in the comedy film called Taxi,
written by Luc Besson back at 1998..

Re: Marion Cotillard: Babe of the week #30 (July 2012)

The first thing I remember seeing Marion Cotillard in is Love Me If You Dare (aka Jeux d'enfants), a really good offbeat romantic comedy/drama. Looking at her IMDB page, I see that her first acting credit was a first season episode of Highlander. I might have seen her in that, but don't recall doing so.

Anyway, she's a great actress and very pretty to boot, so thumbs up.
