Well, some progress made in the main arcs. What was the deal with whatserface in the vault while Artie was talking to himself?

Nice to see Wagner back, but of course they had to have Artie send her away for her own good. I'm glad to hear her say "I'm not going anywhere".

Red herring.

We're supposed to suspect her, since she's been the fall guy in the past (season 1?) I suspect she's the one who will put 2+2 together and spill the beans to the rest of the crew.

Has Alice been "neutralized/obliterated" now that she's been put into the purple filled bag?

I thought Lena was there just to discover Artie's secret, and possibly suspect he's off his rocker.

The purple goo neutralizes the artifact but it doesn't destroy it. I assume Alice still exits; she's just trapped again.

Yeah, I doubt if they'll play the Lena is a traitor card twice.

Maybe we'll find out more about her background this season? We still don't even know her last name!

i also doubt Lena is up to no good. since there are more than 12 episodes this season maybe they can spend one on just Lena. always felt there was a lot of potential with that character.

I thought it would be cool if Artie was the one actually stealing his own artifacts and that he had imagined that the Brotherhood was doing it. He was familiar with storage space where the rifle and other artifacts were stored, as he'd been there before. He put the astrolabe in the Dark Vault, where Alice's Mirror was stored before being stolen. Maybe his own paranoia/guilt is making him do these things without realizing and that's the "evil" that Brent Spiner's character was talking about.

At least, I thought that would be a cool way to go with the storyline. Whether they actually do something like that or not remains to be seen.

That would work; Brother Adrain does talk about creating "an evil of your own making," that would last to the "end of his days."

Except of course that would mean making the main character the baddie; and I really can't see that happening.

It could be the ol' Evil Twin scenario.

It seemed to me that they intended us to suspect Lena's involvement with Brother Data, but I too think it's a red herring. I would definitely like to see her have a bigger role. I've always liked her. And it was great a couple of weeks ago when she got to go out in the field with everyone.
