Could the various members of the Think Tank be assimilated? If yes, which would be the easiest to assimilate, and which would be the most difficult?

I think Jason Alexander would be easiest since we know he's easily tricked, and the Marine being the hardest even IF borg components didn't rust.

Re: Think Tank

Jason Alexander would not be considered worthy of assimilation, unless the Borg had already assimilated the Pakleds and were out of other options (i.e. yoghurt doesn't exist in the Trek universe).

His humor is crude and he is an inefficient employee. He will not be assimilated.

Re: Think Tank

I was thinking more along the lines of whether it was physically possible to assimilate each member. Some beings are immune to assimilation (i.e., Data and Species 8472, etc.).

The two humanoids sure, no problem. The swimming thing too probably, though what good a drone that can't get about on land would be to anyone is beyond me. The robot would be "obsolete in the new order" and that bioplasma thing... I dunno. Seven made a reference to Harry about assimilating an energy based species in The Gift, so maybe?

How do you assimilate an energy based life form

This is Voyager. You should know plot devices don't have to make sense.

Maybe an energy-based nanoprobe.

Ummm, First Contact? Data can be assimilated, just not in the traditional manner.

Re: Think Tank

I believe Data himself told the Borg Queen that attempts to assimilate him would be unsuccessful. The Queen was trying to lure Data to her side by making him a pseudo-human (grafting skin onto his body), but she couldn't turn him into a real human, or a Borg.

Re: Think Tank

I'm going to say the Borg wouldn't assimilate any of them.
They were all con-artists. Nothing they had or did they created themselves, so I would assume they had no real knowledge or tech. the Borg couldn't have gotten from the original beings they conned it from. There was nothing to be gained in assimilating them. I think that would make them useless to the Borg.

As far as Data being assimilated.
Didn't Locutus tell Data that he'd be useless to the Borg in BOBW? I think the Borg would just dismantle him.
Besides, wouldn't Data's desire to be human be seen as a detriment to the Borg? Too them, too desire to be human would be less than perfect. Plus from FC, we've seen Borg tech. can't override Data's desire to be free as shown in "The Most Toys"
