Re: 3 more TOS novels added to S&S catalog for 2013

Seems that there probably will be at least one more TOS novel in 2013.

In the About the Author of William Leisner in ReDeus: Divine Tales it says:

He is currently at work on a Star Trek Original Series novel, ...
If he is working on it now a release sometime in (the latter half of) 2013 seems reasonable.

Cool. I liked Losing the Peace, and A Less Perfect Union, so if this true then I look forward to it.

As 8of5 pointed out on his Guide to the Trek Collective Doug Drexler has posted his cover for Jeff Marriotte's The Folded World on his Facebook:

Interesting... in addition to the Connies and a Romulan Bird of Prey, we've got some older designs -- a Y-class Earth Cargo Services freighter, a Suurok-class Vulcan ship, and a DY-series sleeper ship, plus those two little ones in the middle that I don't recognize. The book blurb refers to "ships of various origins" surrounding the anomaly featured in the book, so maybe this is a Delta Triangle/"The Void" type of thing where it's been trapping ships for centuries.

Kind of like what we saw in "Time Trap" from TAS or even the great Star Trek Voyager game "Elite Force"?

^Uhh, yeah, the Delta Triangle was from "The Time Trap."

I always loved The Time Trap, my favorite TAS episode.

That is one gorgeous cover. I'm very glad that the end of Vanguard doesn't spell the end of Drexler cover art!

The covers nice...but I think it would've looked better in a Ships of the Line Calendar.

Wow, that's the best cover since The Rings of Time. Well done!

Looking at nice covers is one thing I do miss since I switched to my Kindle. Heck, I don't even see it in black & white since starting a book just takes you to the beginning of the text.

You can just go back a few pages if you want to see the cover. While the book usually jumps directly to the start of the actual text the pages before that are there in the Kindle books too.

^ Oh yeah, I'm aware that you can go back to it. But I almost never do, because I know what the cover looks like from online. And when I have, it invariably looks bad due to the greyscale. That is one thing I do like about the Kindle Fire, is that the covers are much more present when you are browsing through the books. Don't know if I'll upgrade though as I prefer the regular Kindle reading experience in general.
