Transformers 4 is a great film because...

...it has made nearly $600 million dollars.

If you don't like it, you are wrong and are merely a nerd with nerd complaints that don't matter to the studios or anyone except yourself.

Box office receipts are the only valid measure of the worth of a film. What critics say don't matter. This is the way things should be and have always been.

The same thing happened to Into Darknessa year ago - bunch of whining fans complaining about minutiae, claiming that the film is bad when it is obviously a success.

That depends on the number of responses the thread gets, I think. The more responses, the better the thread. Complaints about the thread don't count, or so I'm told.

In that case, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace is one of the best films of all time and is better than every Star Trek movie released.

The only great films are the films that I and a select few of my friends like. No other criteria matters.

If the Transformers films are to be creditted with anything, it's inspiring rewatches of the old shows. Transformers TV series are 20 minute toy commercials. My expectations for the films has also been low. I really only want to be entertained.

'Bout as subtle and stealthy as a derailment on a roller coaster... named Ninja.

Ugh, I know someone who was stuck on that ride. Shitty day all around, it seems.

On topic: Transformers 4 was utter garbage.

I got stuck at the top of Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland once, and we had to walk out. That was interesting. Well, not really, but more exciting than the ride usually is.

Re: Transformers 4 is a great film because...

Indiana Jones broke down on us a couple years ago. Right at the end with the boulder, when he's climbing the rope and hanging above the cart. The ride stalled, and Indy just sat there dry humping the rope. Second funniest thing we experienced on that ride that day (the first being IndySolo telling Top41 "Aww, will ya shut up, Willie?" after she spent the whole ride screaming. )

I haven't seen it yet. I'll probably catch it when it shows up on Netflix.

How does Shia LeBouefuf get written out?
