I agree that the viewscreen should be a tad bit wider.

Corridor looks great some far - can't wait to get my hands on it when you're done

An extremely grainy render of where we are so far, 90% complete modelling wise.

Re: Intrepid Class Bridge (Sketchup)...

Work has resumed, after a few weeks off due to other stuff needing my attention. Finished the bridge consoles off and uploaded them as their own model so help yourselves...

I've done some 3D games design and modelling in the past, but what you have done is mind blowing, well done!

What sort of time frames are you talking about for designing a piece of those? For myself its weeks at a time to get anything decent right.

The whole bridge is about 4-5 months work now, granted its been a bit on and off though, but yeah it takes a long time. The biggest challenge is that I'm having to do everything from screencaps with very few reliable measurements to work from. So half the time I model something, then down the road it doesn't line up with something else right and I have to bin it.

Here's 2 quick renders of where things are so far, I've only just started Tom's console so that's very rough at the moment...

Re: Intrepid Class Bridge (Sketchup)...

Well I'm back in full flow. This has taken a bit of a back seat lately, you know, life and other boring stuff getting in the way. Anyway, started modelling the corridor next to Harry's station, and done a fair bit of geometry clean-up work. Another reason this is taking a long time is due to me being a stickler for detail, I'm really trying to get this as accurate as possible, and that means I keep going back and re-doing bits instead of just ploughing on.

more to come.
