Ah, I miss Armada. And Starfleet Command. They had their faults, but still HIGHLY enjoyable all the same, particularly in multiplayer mode. Such a shame that Activision lost/dropped its license. Trek gaming hasn't really been the same since...
I may appear unoccupied to you, but at the molecular level, I'm really quite busy.

I was able to grab a copy of Armada II for about £1 at a car boot sale last year. Bargain considering how much it costs online.

You should be able to run it on Windows 7 with the right patches.
Currently watching Doctor Who... from the beginning.
