And it should at least give the subs time to catch up, since the last one released was episode 07.

Re: The Mysterious Cities of Gold - Part 2

OK, all episodes up to ep 14 have now been subbed and are available in the usual place. Now that the 1st half of the season are in the bag as it were, I reflect on it... The pace has been rather slow favoring instead reintroducing us to the characters and world it's set in. Great adventure stories but I'm ready to get into the meat of it.

Bit 'O spoilers...

By meat I mean, lets find out more about the alchemist Ambrosius, the hidden compartments inside the Condor, and of course the next city which we were told we would be finding more than just one and thus in a more rapid succession.

Also the masked man Zares and Estabans father and his travels. It looks like Mendoza has been brain washed how will that play out?

So now bring on season 1.5!!!

Cities of Gold 2 - English Trailer
http://vimeo.com/68709614

It looks like they've decided to use the original English lyrics for the opening theme, rather than a direct translation of the French Lyrics.

Wow, the animation looks incredible. I've been meaning to get around to watching the subtitled episodes, although at this point maybe I should just wait for the English dub which seems to be close at hand.

It seems that the Golden Condor was mass-produced in factories

Re: The Mysterious Cities of Gold - Part 2

I'm not reading that big spoiler!

I have a good idea who it is though... I think...

Loved ep 23... some shocking moments to be sure. This season has 26 episodes right... we must be on the doorstep of the next city... cant's wait. LOVED the snow ball fight and the fact Tao had never seen snow before. The "padd" they found seems to show the next location of the next city of gold in Japan.... I just hope this city survived being found.

Ep 22 and 23 also had some great musical moments which has been somewhat lacking compared to the 1st season from the 80's. Moments when they are traveling and it just silent are too noticeable, here's hoping they keep up the music aspect of the show.
