Forbidden Planet Blu-ray

Has anyone watched the Blu-ray version of this film? How is it? Is it worth getting the limited edition for extra features?

The Blu-Ray is excellent, porting over all the features (AFAIK) from the DVD. The picture quality is great, too. Not sure what you mean by the limited edition, though. I thought there was only one release of the film on Blu-Ray (which you can pick up for less than ten bucks these days).

^Thanks for the info Harvey This is the limited edition I was talking about: http://www.amazon.com/Forbidden-Plan...5645972&sr=8-5

It is not in Blu-ray, so I was mistaken.

Aside from the tin and the knick knacks, it looks like the content is the same. I'd go with the blu-ray, personally, for the improved audio/video quality.

^Agreed, it looks like aside from the steel case and the cards etc.. the actual content is the same as BR release. Whuch does look good on BR BTW.
