Re: STO: TrekBBS Armada and House of TrekBBS - Fleet discussion and FA

^ Speaking of dilithium, I have a question about getting a suit to do the dailies in the fleet mine... Is this the right place to ask, or should I start another thread? (I've asked in the fleet channel, but nobody who has been online was able to help :-/ )

Welcome to the fleet Shikarnov and the missus!
You can buy a used suit at the Exchange for cheap money. Make sure to activate the suit before walking thru the force field. Learned that the hard way. Good luck, have fun and good hunting.

YOu can also get a free suit from the missions "Boldly they rode" and "A Step between Stars". The latter is even combat worthy.

You can even give away a free suit on ESD, or is that only for Veterans?

On ESD, head down the ramp from the teleporter. Face left when you reach the turn for Quinn's office. Take the right path. When you get to the end of the path, you will see a console to your left. If you are eligible you will be prompted to take a suit.

Ok, I though I remembered a Cryptic blog saying the suit was available to everyone, but I wasn't sure.

I was wrong. it's 500 day veterans.

They might have given it away during a give-away event once, though.

Thanks. I picked up two on the Exchange for 1000 energy credits each. Works perfectly

My wife and I both picked up new ships tonight. Behold the newest addition to the fleet: The USS Pendragon (named, affectionately, for my first son, Arthur).

Re: STO: TrekBBS Armada and House of TrekBBS - Fleet discussion and FA

Here is the good news:

The second track of the Dilithium Mine progression is done and upgraded, we now have access to Mk XII Elite Warp/Singularity cores. Enjoy.

The 100% freighter call cooldown reduction is running and will be done by tomorrow. Enjoy.

The T3 Mine Upgrade doesn't require a single ounce of dilithium.

BUT....

We need

29,751 fleet marks
2,500,000 expertise
595 common duty officers
12,070 Seismic Stabilizers
11,475 Stem Bolts

and the kicker

5,100 Dilithium Mine Provisions which will eat up 2,805,000 fleet credits.

So, get saving, folks.

Mine T3 Upgrade is underway, check under the couch cushions and bring whatever you find!

Killed the XP, and got us started on marks and doffs...

The kicker has been kicked. Took liquidating the fleet credits of all my toons, which added up to more than I thought, about 3,500 dilithium mine Provisions. The hard part is over.

Might I suggest organizing fleet meetups for STF's that will move us along on Fleet marks?

Thanks, LeadHead.

That helped a lot.

Now it's just grinding marks for the most part. srounging the EC for the commodities is childs play compared to the rest.

Re: STO: TrekBBS Armada and House of TrekBBS - Fleet discussion and FA

Wow, nice one!

And yeah, any time someone logs on and sees more than a couple people online, send out a call for STFs or other events to start grinding these Fleet Marks.

Also recommend sending out a call for help on the NoP Public Service channel on occasion; usually people in bigger fleets that are looking for a place to dump marks for credits. As we're 26k or so shy of the goal on this one, I'd say we've got plenty of room to help them with that!

Exciting to finally be at the finish line for one of these holdings, sometimes feels like you're never getting anywhere, but we've almost kicked one, and Embassy and Spire aren't too far behind!

I've been grinding fleet marks, and energy credits all day.
The Seismic Stabalizers and Stem Bolts are now completed, and for good measure i've completed the dilithium requirement for the spire seat of command.

^nicely done! Just the fleet marks now, I think Timelord Victorious is right, if you're online at the same time as more than 2 other fleet members, do some Fleet Mark STF's and we can get this thing going!
