Well, yes and no, I agree and disagree. I think from a typical studio, no, Whedon doesn't look good, but from Marvel's point of view (he's good with the geeks AND he's cheap) he's perfect.

^Well, yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying -- that Marvel Studios' point of view is not the conventional movie-studio way of thinking. They looked beyond the box-office numbers at other, more meaningful considerations.

He has gotten a little paunchy, hasn't he? Just rewatched Dr. Horrible, and yeah... But all of our bodies change as we get older...
