Re: The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

I always enjoyed Pez, I'm a casual collector. I don't have many, what ever has caught my eye. I have several Star Wars, mostly Darth Vader. I actually think this set is the best sculpted Pez set. I really like it, I'm glad I was able to find it.

My buddy gave me the TNG Pez set for my birthday. As soon as I opened, my heart flew. It was a great way to celebrate the 25 years of TNG and to realize what a good show it was all over again. The characters look like they are modeled after the Season 3, 4 time period, which is when the show hit it's stride. I'd be less impressed if they used season one!

My local TK Maxx had the Royal Starships doids for £9.99 and the Ewok 5 pack for £14.99! Bargain considering they go for twice that on eBay and specialist shops.

When you convert pounds to dollars that makes the Ewoks a lot cheaper than most U.S. Toys 'R' Us stores are selling them for. The last time I checked the set was still going for $39.99.

I greedily bought the lot. The accessories with the Ewoks and the B-A-D Starship droids means you can mix and match and create your own characters.

I ordered the Diamond Select/Art Alsyum Enterprise-E from Big Bad Toy Store. I couldn't make it out to the comic shop at all and they had to put the ship back on the shelf, so I just decided I would order the ship online. It should be here in a couple weeks

Mattel has announced one of their SDCC exclusives

Batusi Batman! The box will have sound clips, as well. That just awesome, and makes this a must own!

There's also some pictures of the Romero Joker figure as well.

Re: The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

As a lifelong geek about the 1966-68 Batman series I wholeheartedly approve of this. We haven't had enough collectibles and toys based on the Adam West universe if you ask me. There were a slew of them made when the show was originally on the air but little since.

Vincent Price Egghead figure, anybody? That would be eggcelent.

The side view of the Hot wheels Ent D is the best side view of that saucer. Not squashed at all.

I wish I had gotten the Bandai NX
There is a photo-booklet showing other NX designs that are even more like the TOS E

Any pics of those?

Looks like Kira's Mom has some competition in the "fun with action figures" arena...and both the person and figure makes this SOOOO much cooler...lol

Look out Clintasha!!

Re: The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Looks like I might be able to place online orders for the international-exclusive final waves of Clone Wars and Movie Heroes figures and get a pretty satisfactory deal in the process. It's not going to be dirt cheap to get these overseas figures (there would be two separate case assortments, each containing 12 figures) but I've narrowed it down to a couple of dealers who don't charge obscene amounts for international shipping and handling.

Welcome to the modern state of collecting. Remember when all we had to do was walk into a local Walmart or Toys 'R' Us?
