I have thus far only two Batmen, but then as you guys know, I've only gotten back into collecting action figures fairly recently, and I'm still picky about the figures that I get

And....it's official. The U.S. will not carry any of the 2013 Clone Wars or Movie Heroes basic action figures.

Hasbro's formal confirmation doesn't contain any surprises but it's still a little disappointing seeing that Canada, Europe and Asia will get these and American collectors will have to settle for paying higher prices on eBay and trading for them (if we even have any international connections to begin with).

Woohoo! Congrats, man. I can't wait to hear your first stories after you get her!

I thought I'd post this because they're the new Clone Wars figures no American store will be getting. Three are straight repacks with no changes whatsoever from their previous releases (Savage, Maul, Commander Cody) while the other six are either completely new or contain new heads or other body parts as well as paint applications.

I was actually looking forward to some of these but thanks to the staggering ineptitude of Hasbro the U.S. won't have a shot at any of these....not unless you spend insanely inflated eBay prices to get the Canadian or European figures.

You know, at first I was trying to figure out why the "figure" second from the right seemed to be missing parts. Then I realized it's a jet pack.

Yeah, that's Commander Cody's jetpack with two pivoting cannons. It's actually an older accessory that was first used on another Clone commander a couple of years ago and recycled with new orange paint apps for the 2012 and 2013 Cody figures.

Looks like my LCS got in another shipment of the latest Arkham City wave, so I was able to pick up Talia Al Ghul:

Well....something went really wrong with that headsculpt. The eyes are just huge, making her look like some weird cartoon. It doesn't look quite as bad in person as in the picture, but is still really noticeable. Still, I believe this is the only action figure of Talia that has ever been made. You would think that with her role in the comics for so long, and her recent prominence in The Dark Knight Rises, that we would be getting more figures of her.

They almost look like cat eyes from this particular picture. I think one could say that about a lot of characters in different franchises, and Skids is sort of a running joke in the Transformers fandom because no one seems to remember he exists.

He had a very distinctive form and was part of the second series released, and yet virtually everyone else got remembered in some way. Not poor Skids.
