"Need Help Identifying a Song" Thread of the Week...

Earlier this month, the Huffington Post put out a NSFW supercut of improvised weapons in film. The (annoyingly totally uncredited) background song is pretty catchy, and definitely modern indie-pop, but despite googling several different bits of its lyrics, I can't find anything about it, a first for me. The only explanation I can think of is it's a track that's yet to be publicly released that a trendy editor got his hands on.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm stumped.
Not one shred of evidence exists in favor of the idea that life is serious.

I'm honestly baffled as to why the lyrics show up nowhere on line. But I might be able to narrow it down a little. She sounds very much like the Australian artist Missy Higgins.
"… Times change, and so must I… we all change. When you think about it, we are all different people, all through our lives and that’s okay, that’s good! You've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be."

She also very much sounds like either Ingrid Michaelson or Yael Naim. Maybe you could send them a message through their channel and someone might respond?
