"Caretaker" Line-by-Line

Line-by-Line players, At ease, before you sprain something.

We've recently finished our "The Defector" Line-by-Line over in the TNG Forum!

After each completed thread, I'm randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was JanewayRulz! And JanewayRulz! selected "Caretaker" as out next challenge!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread, I or the Maquis Assistant, CoveTom (

) will pick someone at random from among all the participants to choose the next episode we do.

Now, lets see what's waiting for us in the Badlands...

Unhappy with a new treaty, Federation Colonists along the Cardassian Border have banded together. Calling themselves, 'The Maquis,' they continue to fight the Cardassians. Some consider them heroes, but to the governments of the Federation and Cardassia, they are outlaws.

A Galor Class Cardassian Warship battles a small Maquis raider.
