Kind of an off topic question, unrelated to TNG, but isn't it used in the symbol for the Bajoran religion?
You mean the pillars above the stylized wormhole vortex?

Yeah, no...you're right. Forgot the TNG-ness of it all! Sorry about that stupid mistake. (Idiot!)

Change question to...

In what episode do we see Jean-Luc play the trombone?

Re: The TNG Quiz

That would be Jean-Luc Riker playing the trombone when daddy Will comes back in Future Imperfect.

Thought you;d be tricky, eh? Too bad! I'm a geek!!!

BTW, the Botany Bay turned up in DS9 as a symbol in the Bajoran Temple, as a circular thing consisting of many copies of it rotated around each other. Not sure where it was in Voyager, but I'm thinking it could have been the flash in the camera viewfinder.

My question...

What's the name of the fish in Picard's ready room?

I was gonna wait for confirmation, which I thought was the rule.

Oh well. Name three episodes that Deanna Troi did not appear in.

Re: The TNG Quiz

lol, when several people post the same answer, I'd say that would confirm it. Besides, it wasn't really some obscure factoid. Reasonably common knowledge.

Ok, it's over 24 hours so:

What is the exact sequence needed to initiate the Auto Destruct on 1701-D during Where Silence has Lease?

Re: The TNG Quiz

Hand print ID by Captain and First Oficer:
"Recognize Picard, Jean-Luc. Recognize Riker, William T."

Captain gives auto destruct command:
"Initiate auto-destruct sequence."

Computer asks for confirmation:
"Does Riker, William T. concur?"

First Officer responds:
"I do. Initiate auto-destruct sequence."

Computer asks for countdown duration:
"Desired time interval?"

Captain gives desired duration:
"Initiate auto-destruct. Interval: twenty minutes."

Computer begins countdown.

***

Describe the process as depicted in "11001001."

Re: The TNG Quiz

Dual finger print recognition

Computer: Recognize Picard, Jean-Luc, captain. Recognize Riker, William T. commander

Picard: Set auto-destruct sequence

Computer: Does the 1st officer concur?

Riker: Yes. Set auto-destruct sequence, now

Computer announces, displays & begins auto-destruct sequence, with standard interval of 5 minute count down

Name all of the 9 occurrences of Jean-Luc Picard traveling in or out of time (1 of which is debatable)
